Garipçe

A tiny village in metropolitan Istanbul, near the Black Sea, was once known as a place that offered fresh fish beside a clean expanse of water. This village still survives on fishing and light tourism. There is not a lot to do in Garipce except for enjoying the amazing view and eating some good fish. There are historical ruins left here from the Ottoman Empire, such beautiful left overs. After the Garipce village we went to the Rumeli Feneri which is also an old settlement. The symbol of this village is a lighthouse which was built by the Republic of Genoa which fought against Republic of Venice. There are two ruins in the village which are historically important. Enjoy the amazingness of these two villages!
